 Don has taken the boys to England to visit the places and people Sam learned to love while on his mission xxooxx They are having an AMAZING time. Just look at these faces.

 Doug Kohler and Gloria Eichenhauer  taught me about KOMBUCHA before dinner.

The name kombucha [(Chinese: chájūn (茶菌), Japanese: kōcha-kinoko (紅茶キノコ), Korean: hongchabeoseotcha (홍차버섯차), Russian: chaynyy grib (чайный гриб)] refers to any of a variety of preparations of fermented, lightly effervescent sweetened black or green tea drinks that are commonly used as functional beverages for their health benefits. Kombucha is produced by fermenting tea using a "symbiotic 'colony' of bacteria and yeast" (SCOBY). Actual contributing microbial populations in SCOBY cultures vary, but the yeast component generally includes Saccharomyces and other species, and the bacterial component almost always includes Gluconacetobacter xylinus to oxidize yeast-produced alcohols to acetic and other acids.

Beverages referred to as kombucha originated around 5,000 years ago in China. The health benefits include #1 detoxification #2 Joint care (arthritis etc.) #3 Aids digestion and gut health #4 Immune boosting. Doug makes his own...

                                Friends bringing more friends!!!  Rich from Vegas w  MY ice cream came to visit other friends but became mine...this manly man actually loves books and has read most everything I have...and A LOT more. His wife got to be off waiting for a new grandbaby....it was fun to think on how many I will get to be "off waiting on":)

IN THE MEANTIME...Kim is so kind to share the ohhhh so delicious PYPER with us....she is having her first chiropractic adjustment  with Ryan here. Those eyes and lips and toes and fingers!!! Such a GOOD girl xox

Okay...so MAYBE,  I MIGHT have eaten this at the OWL Bar at Sundance,,,worth the trip people. WORTH THE TRIP!!!!! Chocolate macaroon raspberry ice cream sandwhich with bananas and fresh raspberries on top drizzled with caramel.

                      Ryan knows the way to a woman's heart...bring her a book on her wanna read list, yummy dinner, decadent dessert, make friends with everyone on the patio and make sure everyone photo bombs each other. Sundance is a magical place to end any day. "Thank you" shout out to the new BESTIES from Ohio who so thoughtfully took and shared the pic of us reading together which really started the whole...HEY..we wanna know you party.

Megan is in Canada. Michael is in Alaska. Joshy is in Bellevue. Spencer and Sam in England. This Momma heart feels a bit off kilter, yet, THRILLED at the lives they are creating. I might be growing up.
