Letter from Spencer 4 Sept 2012

i sent the pics in a latter to sam through my sd card, im in the same apt, elder grayson is my new companion , hes a nut but i love him and the temple trip was so sick, i loved it we went and did an endowment and after we all went out to eat at the mexican restraunt near by. and then we stayed the night with the APs so it was a way fun change to the routine. alot is new with our investigators, our 16 year old investigator has quit his job so he can come to church on sundays, and also convinced his father to let him get baptized and quit his job, he quit his job last week and then his father made him go to work with him, but this week he bore his testimony to his dad and explained about how he needed to come to church cuz he knew he needed to get baptized so this week when we showed up at his house his father ernesto smiled at me and sayed that he would be at church this week, as long as i would teach him how to play the guitar on thursday , so it was was a win win, stevens getting baptized and i get to play the guitar an extra hour a week.
we also were able to get into contact with some former investigators named uriel and liz who are preparing for baptism on the 6th, there way cool we had a great spiritual lesson with them yesterday after frisbee golf.
we also had a cool miracle, a guy named francisco lives with his girlfriend viki whos a member and well long story short francisco is a jehovas witness and he hated us when i first got here, he would not even talk to me but after serv ing him around his apartment and sharing scriptures from the bible cuz he wouldnt let us read the book of mormon hes opened his heart, i kinda gave up on him honestly but yesterday he called us and said he would be out of town for a week working but when he got back he wanted to meet with us.
narciso and carmen mora are still progressing towards baptism there date is on the 16th and doing great.
our branch has been getting excited because we have been getting investigators at church and less actives too and our attendance is going up.
elder billings is still doing great with our other investigators were way excited as were finding many elect ready for the gospel, we cant wait to fill up the font togethor again .
im doing great loving life, the people and the work, hope everything is good for yall back home, its crazy zachs married, one of my homies gone for good, hopefully noone else bites the dust before i get home.
