Josh's letter 23 Feb 2009

Hey fam!

so i dont have much time this week so i am just going to write as fast as i can to get more in, you will have to excuse typo stuff. Arusha is preety sweet, it is definitely a tourist town, i have seen more white people in an hour here than i saw my whole time in rongai, which is kinda nice because the kids dont run up and bother me here, they stare and say hello, but they are not hanging on me like they were in Rongai. My companion is Elder Katjotjo (pretend the t's are silent and you can almost pronounce his name right) he is really cool, much more quiet than my last companions but not in a bad way, i am actually excited about it. there are about 30 members here and it is growing fairly fast, we have a lot of investigators, but i guess not to many are progressing, ill learn more about that as i am here longer. i came here by bus, it took like five hours. there has been no running water in the apartment since i have been here, and we have been getting our water from a tap about a quarter mile from the house (thats the part in the title about the drought) but its not so bad and we should have the water back by tomorow. elder katjotjo loves to just sit and discuss the scripturesat night, which has been awesome (the part about the feast). anyways i have to go, i love you all, i promise my message next week will be longer!

Love,
Elder Harris
